Banks are charging between Rs 25 and Rs 51 for this service. These charges are taking from you by all major country banks which include SBI, HDFC, ICICI PNB. If you want to overcome such deduction, then many banks do not take any money on PIN generating from mobile banking and net banking. In this case, you should take advantage of it.
Bank ATM PIN Generation Charge – Duplicate Debit Card PIN Generation charges In HDFC (Rs.59)
If you want to generate duplicate PIN of country’s largest private sector bank HDFC then it charges Rs. 59 as service charges. And it does not include 18 percent GST amount. If duplicate debit card PINs are made by phone banking or mobile banking, then no charge is to be given. If the PIN re-generation of HDFC Bank’s debit card or duplicate PIN will be done by ATM, then the GST will also be added in it and you have to pay around Rs. 59 for the service charge.
SBI Bank Duplicate Debit Card PIN Generation charges (Rs.51)
If you wish to generate duplicate PIN of country’s largest bank SBI then you have been charges Rs. 51 as service charges. It includes 18 percent GST amount also in it. Apart from this, the SBI customer will also have to pay around 51 rupees service charge with GST on generating duplicate pin through phone banking, mobile banking and net banking. Means SBI customers have to pay at every stage, they cannot run away from it.
ICICI Bank Duplicate Debit Card PIN Generation Charges (Rs.25)
If you are going to generate duplicate PIN of country’s second largest private sector bank ICICI then you have been charges Rs. 25 as service charges. If duplicate debit card PIN generation is done by phone banking or bank branch, you will not have to pay any charges or penny. There is some relaxation to the customer in this bank.
Punjab National Bank PNB Duplicate Debit Card PIN Generation charges (Rs. 50)
One of the largest public sector banks in the country, the Punjab National Bank’s debit card duplicate ATM PIN generation charges is rupees 50. If this PIN is generated from mobile banking, phone banking or internet banking, you also have to pay 50 rupees. However, if the customer is not able to read the ATM PIN due to bad printing, then PIN generation will be free in that case.
