Aadhaar has been now considered as important document while opening for new bank account as well as for old one also. And you can link these both the document by sitting home easily.As per the notification released from central government.

Link Your Account With UID Using Two Ways
If you want to link your bank account number with unique identification number then you can do this work by following two basic ways. One is offline and another is online way.
) Offline Way
If you want to proceed with offline mode then you have to visit your bank branch to link documents.
Here you have to provide your Aadhaar details to the bank officer.
And respective bank official will link your aadhaar with bank account.
) Online Way
If you want to link from by sitting your home or you are in such a place or situation that you cannot able to visit the branch, then you have to choose the online method of linking aadhaar with bank account and it is suitable as per your condition.
In online way you have to follow four simple steps to seed your account to UID.
Follow these Steps For Seeding Process
First Step: First of all you must have activated your internet baking for your account.
Second Step: Then log in to your account with provided steps and then after successful log in search for “Update Aadhaar Card Details” option. Normally it is provided upper side or in left menu bar. Some banks provide “Aadhaar Card Seeding” option. SO don’t confuse with that. Both are same.
Third Step: Click on any option which is provided by your bank. And fill up your aadhar details.
Fourth Step: Then click on submit button. And buy doing this, your aadhar will be linked with bank account from sitting home. Means no need to go to the bank and stand up in long queue of bank offices.
So by following these steps you can link your unique number with UID number online successfully and avoid your bank account for any kind of action which must be taken after that.
