Our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi had launched the scheme on 17 September 2023. By this scheme the person who can be beneficial that are Carpenter, Boat Maker, Blacksmith, Hammer and Tool Kit Maker, Locksmith, Goldsmith, Potter, Sculptor, Stone breaker, Cobbler, Mason, Basket/Mat/Broom Maker/Coir Weaver, Doll & Toy Maker, Barber, Garland maker (Malakaar), Washer man (Dhobi), Tailor (Darzi) and Fishing Net Maker.
These are 18 types of people related to craftsman business who are worked on small scale with their hands and required tools.
Benefits for the Persons
Prime minister cleared that Pradhan Mantri vishawkarma ID card should be made for the person with this they will get identification and so can they get acknowledged by the people for their work.
The training program should be organized for the people time to time so that their skill gets enhanced time to time so can they get take proper benefits and do their work efficiently and according to customer’s demand. In this training the stipend of Rs. 500 will be provided to the people.
Motivation money of Rs. 15000 will be provided to the person who wanted to attend the training in order to buy toolkit. So can they should complete their training properly.
Vishwakarma Loan Yojana
A development loan of Rs. 3 lakhs should be provided as support in two installments of Rs. 1 lakh and 2 lakhs of 18 months and 30 months respectively. Of less interest rate up to 5%. Another benefit as digital transaction is also provided.
Support for marketing will also be provided to the craftsman and they will help in branding and e commerce platforms.

Verification which are needed
There are different types of verification are needed for the registration on the Pradhan Mantri Vishawakarama portal. These are:
- Verification at Gram Panchayat
- Recommendation by the district Implementation Committee
- Approval by the Screening committee
Application for the scheme
- Visit the website https://pmvishwakarma.gov.in/ and click on the login menu.
- There is a drop down menu in the login button from there select the “CSC- View E- Shram Data.
- From there we can see E-Shram data available to register in PM Vishwakarma.
- Log in using your CSC User Name and Password.
- The users of CSC can see E-Shram details of registered applicants. Then they can easily contact them.
- To register handicraftsman in PM Vishwakarma, CSC Users need select the “CSC- Register Artisans” option from the Login drop down.
- There is no one be government employee in the family and you should not be benefited any loan facility under the state government or central government for your business. Or self employment likes PM seva nidhi or Mudra loan yojana.
- After choosing yes or no you have to click on “continue”.
- After continue the another page will open where you have to enter the mobile number which is linked with the aadhar card after that he authentication OTP come to your mobile.
- After that bio-metric authentication should be performed by click on bio-metric button.
- In the Registration Form details like the Name, Father/ Spouse name, Date of birth and Gender will be automatically fetched from Aadhaar. After that fill the marital status, select the Category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC).
- Select whether the Artisan is handicapped or not, if craftsman is handicapped then select type of disability. Select the location of the whether it is in same state or not and Select whether the craftsman is from minority category or not, if yes then select the Minority Category.
- In the Contact Detail Section, the Mobile Number and Aadhaar Number will be auto-filled. Enter the Pan Card Number if available.
- After personal detail the candidate have to fill the Family detail your ration card number should be linked with Aadhaar number then ration card number and family details will be fetched automatically, Fill the Aadhaar Address Detail Section, the Aadhaar address, State, District, and Pin Code will be auto-filled.
- In the Profession/Trade Details Section, select the Artisan’s Profession/Trade Name. Details of the profession should be entered properly.
- In the Savings Bank Detail Section, select the Artisan’s Bank Account Name, enter the IFSC Code, select the Bank Branch Name, and enter the Account Number and confirm it by re- entering the account number.
- After entering all the required information, click on the Submit Button. A Registration Number will be generated.
