If you have Aadhaar Card , You can apply and get Passport Within 10 Days

Now you can also apply or proceed towards passport application process if you aadhaar card within 10 days. Means you will able to receive your passport after ten days. And for this you will have to file an application via online process. There is no need to provide bunch of documents as proof of address, identity, and some other identification. Because now on your Aadhaar Card is sufficient of all kind of identification process. You can make an appointment within 3 days of applying as per your convenience and in next 7 days you will able to receive your passport through post. Aadhar Card has been made mandatory for this process from January 2015. And it’s a good decision taken by Government.

Why Aadhar UID is Required?

Indian Government has taken this move to keep track of the criminal record and also to check the background of person who is applying via Aadhaar Card. So to make it easy for the users, the Ministry of Home Affairs has taken this necessary and helpful step.

Follow some easy steps through the help of which you can able to get your passport within 10 days via online procedure.

Step 1 – Get Register via Passport Seva Portal

Visit authorities portal to register yourself through official Link . If you are visiting here for first time as new user then proceed with ‘register now’ option and mention required information such as your ‘passport kendra’, date of birth, and your email id.

After registration process, you will get your login ID via registered mail ID. So use these which you have received on your email for logging. Then you will be redirected to home page.

Step 2 – Login into Your Account

Activate your account by visiting the link you have received trough email. Enter your user name and password. After successful login you will able to saw to option as ‘Apply for Fresh Passport’ or ‘Re-issue of Passport’.

Step 3 – Select your Required Option

If you are going to apply for passport for new passport for very first time, then click on ‘Apply for Fresh Passport’ option mentioned over there. Then you have to fill the form which ask some details regarding yourself. Provide you all information very carefully and correctly check your form again and again for any kind of mistake. Because if the passport process fail or any error occur from your side, then it takes time to reapply again.

Step 4 – Mention About Family Members

As you have completed the form by providing your details, save it. Now you have access to this page from anywhere, anytime through user name and password. In the next step, provide complete details about your family members.

Save the information you have provided and proceed to the next step where have to mention about your resident address; then save it. Then give your emergency contact information.

Step 5 – Payment and Make Appointment

At ‘View Saved/Submitted Applications’ page, select the Pay and Schedule Appointment option and schedule your appointment timing. After submission of form you have to proceed with online payment process via your credit / debit card, or internet banking or SBI bank challan or via similar associate banks.

Step 6 – Take Print out of application receipt

After completion of all process, select the Application Receipt option to get it printout, which can have your application reference number and appointment number.

Step 7 – Bring your original documents (Certificate)

Now attach the copy of aadhaar card with this printed application form and take original documents to Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) / Regional Passport Office (RPO) where you have booked appointment, while making your visit to over there. In next 7 days, you will able to get your passport at home via post. You can also download its copy via online.
