Last Date To Link PAN Card To Aadhaar Card
Now it is compulsory for all of us to link these two cards. Earlier it was not necessary. And people have linked cards with their own interest. Government has given us an ample amount of time. And now they have declared the dead line to complete the linking process till 31st March. If any one fail to do so then be ready to face consequences for the same.
So to link your PAN with Aadhaar, you can follow the simple steps to do so, which are mentioned below.
1 Go to Income Tax e filling website.
2 You have to register your self here if not done previously. Your PAN (Permanent Account Number) will become your user id.
3 Log in by typing your User ID, password and your date of birth
4 A new screen with shown and guiding you to link your UID with PAN card. If not done so then visit Profile setting on Main menu and click here link aadhaar.
5 Information related to you like your name, date of birth, gender will be previously described as per your PAN information
6 Verify PAN information mentioned on the display s per your Aadhaar. Also be careful if you found mismatch in details then you have to make correction in any of document.
7 If your all information match then provide your Aadhar number and select on link now option.
8 A new window will appear and tells you about successful linking of aadhar with PAN Card
9 There are other portal to link these documents if any one of the website is not working https://www.utiitsl.com/ OR https://www.egov-nsdl.co.in/ to link your UID and PAN.
You may loss many of opportunity if you fail to link these documents. So hurry up and complete this process as soon as possible to avoid any other loss in any government scheme like filling e return or opening bank account.
Aadhaar PAN Linking Date Update
Now you link your UID with pan card till 30th June. This date is extended for three months. Government has increased the date of seeding permanent account number with aadhaar for next three months up to 30th June. Those who fails to do within this timeline, their PAN card become invalid from 1st July 2023. Previously this date was up to 31st March. But, for that people have to pay fine of Rs 1000 which has been earlier by the officials.

Central Board Of Direct Taxex, (CBDT) Government of India, has told that it is necessary for the people to link with aadhar card who have prepared their PAN card before 1st July, 2017. Those who fail to do so, have to face many consequences from filling their income tax return to taking benefits of government initiated schemes. Till now more than 52 Crore people of India has linked PAN aadhaar.
