Aadaar Card Compulsion Made By Government
Recently Supreme Court says that aadhaar card is no more necessary for all kind of welfare schemes. But SC has also accepted that Government cannot be stopped for making aadhar card necessary for all non-welfare schemes.
On Monday, Supreme Court has cleared that Government cannot made aadhaar card as essential document for giving benefits of social welfare schemes. But the main court has also accepted the fact that they cannot stop the government and its agencies for asking aadhar card for various schemes like IT return filling form and opening bank account and similar more which are considered as non-welfare schemes.
Aadhar Card Validation
A bench of three members presiding under chief justice nayayamurti J. S. khehar has said that for any non-beneficial scheme government can ask for aadhar card like opening bank account, to return your income tax etc. Court says that it is correct that aadhar will not made mandatory for getting government benefit but in other cases government can ask you for your aadhar number. And from doing that government will not be stopped.
Also court said that if we talk about Income Tax Return then as per our knowledge it is not a government benefit. For bank accounts aadhar card can be demanded is correct. And poor people who are living in villages cannot be asked for aadhar for getting pension. But that is only the medium of their living in some places.
Aadhaar Compulsion In Government Schemes
Court has cleared in their words that adhaar will not made compulsory for social welfare and beneficial schemes but for non-beneficial schemes it can be made necessary like aadhar for voter id card. This bench includes Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud Sanjay Kishan Kaul. Court has also dismissed the appeal in which petition is filed against aadhar validation. In such appeals citizen has made the base of personal information leakage. Court has said for such decision a bench of seven judges has been arranged soon. At the moment, it is not possible. Three more cases related to aadhar will be decided by this bench only. The bench said that we have considered this taken all necessary cognition and it is in our mind. We will take care of those cases one by one.
More Decision On Aadhar Card
Senior lawyer shyam deevan has made appeal in front of bench to hear those cases as soon as possible. He said that government used to declare new things and order on daily basis related to aadhar card. He said that government will not follow the court orders any more. Many societies and agencies have given challenge to aadhar validation. So the court says that it is also not possible for us to solve them all. These can be solved by knowing the middle way by all of us. Check schemes where aadhar is required.
Aadhar Card Safety
In the parliament, the questions have been rise against aadhar card safety. During discussion in Rajya Sabha congress MP has raised those questions against government like Aadhar For Bank Account Opening, ITR return, Pan Card, UID For mobile number, other government schemes where aadhar card is necessary. He said that why not aadhar will be hacked. He blames the government that they are going to keep their eye on citizen through this. Who is going where means all and everything.
